Adamari López talks working with her daughter and why it's important to keep close with her Latin audience.

“Having the opportunity to travel and be close with the audience, for whom we make television, is always marvelous. I always like to be close and listen to their proposals and thank them for the love and support that they’ve given me throughout my career. ”“Univision has given us a platform to talk about topics with our audience that affect us all, which helps us overcome them or gives us a different point of view,” she said.

“My colleagues are great, and we’re very different; we’re from different nationalities, different ages. ” She continued, “At the beginning we didn’t know how the audience would receive us or how we would share our opinions and be respectful … I think the audience has liked a lot and has identified themselves in different ways with us as they get to know us more.

” Aside from her hosting duties, López is also the ambassador for DirecTV and the plan MiEspañol, which helps the star keep connected to Latino audiences across the U.S. Over the years, López has shared her journey as a mother, and recently her daughter Alaïa joined her as a co-host of “During the first season, we were nervous because we didn’t know how everything would turn out,” López said about working with her daughter.

“As a mother, I was nervous about making sure she was comfortable, that she didn’t feel that it was an obligation, but when we started, she enjoyed it a lot, and she was very hopeful. ” López has been open about her life throughout her career, but something she wouldn’t want to do is a 24/7 reality show like“I think that would be very difficult being away from my daughter,” she added.

“Being without contact with her would emotionally complicate things and it would affect me a lot.
