The Waterloo Road star said his anxiety is being sent 'through the roof'
Adam Thomas has sent somewhat of a double plea to Strictly Come Dancing fans as he gave an update from training. The Waterloo Road star was seen over the weekend during the BBC One dance contest's launch show as viewers saw him discover his dance partner for the first time.
Reacting to the pairing, the Manchester-born actor said: "I’m loving life…what is not to love? I’m on Strictly Come Dancing and I’ve got this Russian princess, I’m buzzing, absolutely over the moon." But Adam wasn't best pleased with his debut performance, a group number with the other couples to a medley of tracks, as he took to Instagram to assure fans it 'wasn't his best'.
"It's week one, I'll get better. I know everyone's got high hopes [and] thinks I'll do amazing, give me time and stop comparing me to Kelvin Fletcher," he continued as he burst out laughing. "I am not Kelvin. The more you compare to Kelvin the more my anxiety goes through the roof, ok?"
