'THAT'S YOUR HOME, BALL!' Adam Sandler congratulated “Happy Gilmore” caddy doppelganger Will Zalatoris after his first career PGA Tour victory.
Adam Sandler - who starred as the title character in the 1996 golf comedy"Happy Gilmore" - wrote a congratulatory tweet to golfer Will Zalatoris after he earned his first PGA Tour victory on Sunday.
Why would one of Hollywood's top stars take such interest in a 26-year-old golfer? Well, prior to his victory at the FedEx St. Jude Championship on Sunday, Zalatoris was perhaps best known for resembling Happy Gilmore's caddie. He also was known for being the best golfer on the PGA Tour without a victory after several close finishes.
