Eiri Munro took to Instagram to post her message
It was an emotional night for Team GB's Adam Peaty as he came within inches of clinching his third successive Olympic gold in the men's 100m breaststroke.
The trio were seen in an emotional embrace after the race, with Peaty saying he was crying 'happy tears'. Shortly after, his ex and mother of his child Eirianedd Munro took to her Instagram Stories to share a heartwarming message and snap of George.Eiri wrote: "Congratulations, Adam. George is so proud of you. He doesn't see the worth of a medal, but the absolute strength and determination that got you it.
The former couple met at Loughborough University and welcomed George together in 2020. They later announced their split in 2022.
