Opinion: Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach and going green: Letters
Re “Ready, set, go green for racing” :
As you say in the article, “The most obvious polluters are the race cars themselves,” so it would be nice if the cars were electric vehicles. Most car manufactures are already making or planning to make an electric vehicle. The companies that make the Indy cars used in the Grand Prix should be able to produce an electric Indy car.

The good news is that most all of the 1,100 UCR faculty members are productive busily engaged in teaching and meaningful research.
