Actor Daniel J. Travanti sold his longtime six-bedroom, 6,744-square-foot mansion in Lake Forest for $1.275 million.
A Kenosha native, Travanti, 82, starred on TV’s “Hill Street Blues” from 1981 until 1987 and remains active as an actor, continuing to review projects, according to a representative.on Aug. 16 for $1.49 million. He cut his asking price on Sept. 5 to $1.44 million and found a buyer several weeks later.
Built in 1987, the house has 5-1/2 bathrooms, one fireplace, a sunroom, high ceilings with skylights, a basement with a rec room, a butler’s pantry and a kitchen with a dual oven, an island and under-mount lighting.“It’s in a great location and it’s a nice wooded lot, and I’m sure it’ll make a great home for ,” listing agent Syed Hashmi told Elite Street. He declined to comment further on the sale.Public records do not yet identify the buyers.
