Neil Raine has reported the issue to Blackpool Council with highways bosses promising to fix the problem
Highways bosses have vowed to urgently tackle a junction in Blackpool following two collisions in a matter of weeks.
Friday's collision was the second at the junction in a matter of weeks and Neil, 42, said that he fears more accidents will happen unless the road markings are repainted. He flagged up his concerns to Blackpool Council and just two days later a highways inspector was at the scene to assess any work which might need to be carried out.
A spokesperson for Blackpool Council confirmed the issue was reported on Friday September 22. Neil said he was pleased with the quick response to his report. "I use the Fix My Street app to report potholes and councils are really good at responding to that. If the council aren't made aware of these things then you can't necessarily expect them to be constantly driving round looking for them."
