Lee said JSDC is committed to helping SPM and diploma holders equip themselves with the skills required by the market.
Johor investment, trade and consumer affairs committee chairman Lee Ting Han said JSDC has created almost 70,000 highly skilled workers since its establishment some 30 years ago.“JSDC is committed to helping SPM and diploma holders equip themselves with the skills required by the market.
“It directly helps solve the unemployment issue in Johor as well as increases youths’ marketability through the training provided,” he added.He added that JSDC was established in 1993 with the aim of providing technical training and improving the skills level of the state’s workforce. JSDC, he said, is an approved training institute by the Human Resources Ministry through its Skills Development Fund Corporation, Skills Development Department and the Human Resource Development Corporation .
It is also approved by the Standards and Industrial Research Institute of Malaysia , National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health and Energy Commission. “JSDC certificate holders are in high demand and can command higher salaries after undergoing the training provided,” he added.
