Pearlman retired 13 in a row from the second through the sixth before hitting pinch hitter Landen Montallegro to open the seventh. Pearlman proceeded to strikeout the next three hitters in LCC’s ninth straight win after a 10-3 loss to Granite Hills to open the season. He’s headed to Ohlone College in Fremont — a junior college in the San Francisco Bay Area — if he doesn’t get a better offer.
