Patrick J. Adams as Michael Ross in Suits
The trailer for Accused season 2 reveals the high-stakes story to come for the Fox crime drama, including an appearance from Suits star Patrick J. Adams. Developed by Homeland co-creator Alex Gansa and based on the British show of the same name, Accused is among the shows returning to Fox in just a few weeks. It's an anthology that puts the spotlight on defendants as they go on trial, with each episode bringing in new guest actors and focusing on a new story.
After the Accused season 1 guest cast included the likes of Rachel Bilson, known for The O.C. and Heart of Dixie and The Americans star Margo Martindale, the preview highlights some of the familiar faces to come. Adams will appear in "Marcus' Story." The story unfolds as a tech entrepreneur creates software that leads down a dark path when used. Adams will play Pete, with Grey's Anatomy's Jerrika Hinton portraying Lycia. The titular role of Marcus will be played by Nick Cannon, the actor, rapper, and Masked Singer host. Based on the trailer, Adams is playing the tech creator and the episode will deal with racism.
