Police shoot danger breed dead 'as it still posed serious risk'
David Daintree, 53, died in the horror attack - and police said they were left with no choice but to shoot the dog.
Police were called shortly before 9.30pm yesterday by the ambulance service to reports of a dog attacking someone inside a house at Ashley Court in Accrington.
