"Access Philly" is a free, multilingual mobile app that lets users discover events in real time, access maps and accessibility information, and explore offerings across every neighborhood.This year alone, the City of Brotherly Love is preparing to host the FIFA World Cup, MLB All-Star Week, and the nation’s Semiquincentennial. “We are preparing to welcome the world, and we want everyone to know where to go and how to be part of it,” Philadelphia Mayor Cherelle Parker said. “2026 Access Philly puts the full experience of our city in people’s hands and ensures residents and visitors can easily connect to everything happening across Philadelphia.” “The Founding Fathers used a printing press to share an idea with the world. Today, we are using technology to bring people together in real time,” said Michael Newmuis, 2026 Director for the City of Philadelphia. “As residents and visitors prepare to experience our city, this free app makes it easy to find what’s happening across Philadelphia, in every neighborhood.” Developed by the City’s Office of Innovation and Technology, city officials said that the app is designed to grow beyond 2026 as a long-term platform.
