Rochester, N.Y. (WHAM) - A Hollywood icon received high honors in Rochester Tuesday night. Goldie Hawn accepted the George Eastman Award.
Goldie Hawn accepted theShe's not only an Academy Award-winning actress, a producer, and a director; but she's also a best-selling author.
She founded The Goldie Hawn Foundation, a public charity with a mission to transform children’s lives."I just want to say that being here tonight, means the world to me," said Hawn. "We get our awards and they do nice things, but I feel there's an authenticity here tonight that is real different than other kinds of awards. Because, right now, you know, we realize we're standing on everything that made our work possible.
