An effort is being made in Utah County to prepare teachers and educators for life or death situations at schools.
With school shooting s and violence constantly making headlines, the sheriff spearheading the effort said it’s training they'd like to see become more common.
Both said they’re attending the Teachers Academy hosted at the Utah County Sheriff's Office to learn and prepare for the worst, like a school shooting.
