AC Logistics Holdings Corp. on Thursday said it signed an agreement for the transport, handling and management of hospital and hazardous waste across the island resorts of El Nido.

IWMI will be in charge of collection, transport and proper treatment and disposal of Ten Knots’s medical and infectious wastes. Full service includes documentary evidence of how the generator’s hazardous wastes are treated and disposed. The recent pandemic resulted in an increase in volume of hospital waste like face masks, hazmats, PPE, vials and syringes, diluents and expired medicines that requires proper handling and disposal.

IWMI has been in the business of collecting and treating infectious and hazardous wastes for more than 30 years.
