Madness unfolds as raving grannies get lost and end up partying with Parklife festival-goers
A pair of grannies who were on their way for a spot of shopping at Manchester’s Arndale got lost on their tracks and ended up raving at Parklife - or so they say.
The grannies revealed themselves to be Margery Long and Doris Day, who did not plan on heading to the music festival in Heaton park today . Margery and Doris danced and partied with the festival-goers who were extremely amused at the entertaining act. Speaking to the Manchester Evening News, Margery Long said they were ready to get the party started in the VIP area.
