PETALING JAYA: Some 200 members from the Tanjung Karang PKR division have announced that they are leaving the party, claiming to have lost confidence in the leadership of party president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
"After we fought to release him from prison, we had hoped for him to lead the party in a better direction – but he failed to manage the party.
Zainal Abidin – who was seen sobbing and being consoled by another individual at the start of the video – also cited the recent sacking of former deputy president Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali and his ally, Zuraida Kamaruddin, as well as others members aligned to the duo, as another factor which eroded their confidence in Anwar's leadership.
