, Durand has been cast in the Paramount Pictures’ new Naked Gun movie, which will be released in July 2025. He will reportedly be playing one of the villains in the movie, according to The Hollywood Reporter’s sources. has also been tapped to play Captain Ed in the new Naked Gun reboot.
The movie is being produced by Seth MacFarlane and Erica Huggins. Schaffer serves as an executive producer alongside Daniel M. Stillman.What other movies has Kevin Durand been in? Durand made his professional acting debut in Hollywood when playing Bazooka Marksman Joe in 1999’s Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me. He went on to star in movies such as 2004’s The Butterfly Effect, 2006’s Somkin’ Aces, 2007’s 3:10 to Yuma, 2009’s X-Men Origins: Wolverine, 2010’s Robin Hood, 2011’s Real Steel, 2021’s Resident Evil: Retribution, 2014’s Noah, and 2017’s Tragedy Girls, among other roles.
He recently played Peter in Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett’s new horror movie Abigail, which is currently playing in United States theaters.
