Much must be said about Alisha Weir because she does quite a bit with a role that is not easy for an adult to pull off, let alone a kid. It's clear that she is a talented dancer, and blending that with her otherworldly movements once we know she isn't human is the kind of dissonance that works, even if it rehashes most of the 'kid is actually a monster' tropes we have seen before.
