NSTnation Lasting less than two hours, the Penang Legislative Assembly held what is possibly its shortest ever session.
The sitting was shortened in light of the Covid-19 pandemic and the resulting Movement Control Order .
“Firstly, to provide immediate assistance to affected parties such as traders, trishaw riders, tour guides, taxi and e-hailing drivers, people with special needs and low income groups . Abdul Rahman also reminded the state that many companies here will be affected, both directly and indirectly, by the outbreak.
