ABC's High Potential Season 3 is officially moving forward, with the hit crime thriller finding the perfect new showrunners.

Since its debut back in 2024, the series has become a ratings juggernaut, consistently breaking its own records and even becoming the most-watched series not just on its network, but across broadcast television by Nielsen's ratings during the 2024-2025 season. Naturally, such success meant the Drew Goddard-created series was swiftly renewed for a third season in March, but with that news also came a major blow in the form of showrunner Todd Harthan's departure.
The creative was moving on to work with author Christopher Paolini on the live-action adaptation of his YA fantasy novel series, Eragon, for Disney+. Fortunately, Morgan Gillory isn't staying down for long after such a loss. Just one month after the Season 2 finale, High Potential has found not one, but two new stewards to take the wheel in the form of Nora and Lilla Zuckerman.
Notably, the duo is currently under an overall deal with 20th Television, who produce the series. The Zuckermans bring a wealth of experience behind the camera, previously working on Suits and another ABC series, Agents of S.H. I.E.L. D. Among their most notable work of late, though, is their stint as showrunners on Rian Johnson's acclaimed mystery series Poker Face.
High Potential now adds another big project to their plate at a time when they've also been tapped by Spyglass to pen Scream 8.
