ABATHEMBU KINGDOM - AbaThembu spokesperson Chief Zwelenqaba Mgudlwa says President Cyril Ramaphosa hasn't been given an ultimatum to release their king. Mgudlwa denies the AbaThembu Kingdom intends to urge people not to vote on 8 May. In fact, they urge all AbaThembu people to exercise their constitutional.It was earlier reported that AbaThembu voters threatened to boycott the election if their monarch isn't pardoned.
King Buyelekhaya Dalindyebo is serving a 12-year sentence for kidnapping, arson, assault and defeating the ends of justice.Acting king Azenathi Dalindyebo said he's positive that the king will be home very soon and he will step down.
