Aaron Rodgers’ family feud appears to be softening.
The future Hall of Famer posted a series of photos with his estranged family, which included his mother, father and one of his brothers,Rodgers’ relationship with his family has been the subject of scrutiny over the years and a touchy subject for the Steelers quarterback.
However, things have seemed to have turned a corner, as Rodgers posted photos of himself smiling alongside his mother, Darla, and father, Ed, along with his brother, Luke, in several photos. Aaron Rodgers and his mother are pictured. In one pic, Darla has her arms wrapped around Rodgers, while both smile from ear to ear. In another photo, it shows Rodgers helping to assemble a toy presumably for Luke’s kids.
Rodgers has been estranged from his family for years now, dating as far back as 2016, when Jordan was on the “Bachelorette,” where the QB’s brother would meet his wife JoJo Fletcher. It’s unclear when Rodgers and his family may have come to a détente, but the images show him in a much better place with them than years past.
Still, Jordan’s absence will lead many to believe that the fence-mending still has a ways to go between the two brothers. Jordan was not invited to Rodgers’ wedding to Brittani, who has still not been seen publicly during the span of their relationship, the Daily Mail reported last summer, and the quarterback did not attend Jordan’s nuptials to Fletcher in 2022 despite an invite.
Rodgers has spoken about his strained relationship with Jordan in the past and about his brother’s appearance on the “Bachelorette. ” Robert Sabo for the NY Post“It wasn’t like I was super duper close with everybody in the family,” Rodgers said.
“But in actuality, it goes back to stuff from high school that kind of made me feel distant. Stuff in college, stuff post-college. ”“What do they do? They go on a bulls–t show and leave two empty chairs,’ Rodgers said.
“They all agreed this was a good thing to do, to leave two empty chairs at a stupid dating show that my brother just went on to get famous – his words, not mine – that he ended up winning.
