Aaron Carter passed away last week at the age of 34
Aaron Carter’s family have said the star’s death was ‘unintentional’ as he was looking forward to spending time with his young son.
A source close to the family told TMZ: ”Aaron couldn't wait for the holidays, and was even planning on spending time with both Melanie and their young son, Prince. The source continued: "Aaron was supposed to have an online session Friday evening, but was a no-show. When the facility reached out to tell Melanie, she broke the tragic news to them.
In a statement, they said: "We are extremely saddened and shocked to confirm the passing of Aaron Carter today. Aaron got his career start opening for the Backstreet Boys on a 1997 tour and later that year he released his self-titled debut album.
