If you and the family plan to take a long drive on Memorial Day, you'll likely pay a little bit more for gas than if you filled the tank last week.

In fact, the last time the national average was less than $2 per gallon heading into a Memorial Day Weekend was in 2003, according to the AAA.While the prices at the pump may be alluring, the CDC advises people who are sick or high at-risk for COVID-19 to stay home as much as possible with the coronavirus pandemic still in full effect.
