BREAKING: The A84 has been closed in both directions between Doune and Callander
The A84 was reopened shortly after 2am today after being closed in both directions between Doune and Callander since around 8pm yesterday . The closure was due to a road traffic collision and road users had been advised to use the available diversion route.
National roads information service Inrix had reported that two vehicles were involved in the incident, one of which had overturned. It added: "The closure is affecting traffic heading into Doune." However, by 2.25am, Inrix had updated: "A84 in both directions reopened, accident cleared and earlier accident investigation work from B8032 George Street to B8032."
