Solicitations are providing a glimpse at the dramatic finale of the upcoming crossover "Beast World". But by the sound of things, not every member of the team will be making it out alive.
The new year is almost here and DC Comics is giving fans a peek at what lies ahead in 2024 with its latest batch of solicitations. Not only is DC's crossover with the Monsterverse going strong in Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong, but the Titans-centric crossover "Beast World" comes to its epic conclusion.
One Titan is Going to Die and It Could Be Anyone With the Justice League disbanded in the wake of Dark Crisis on Infinite Earths, the Titans stepped up to take their place as the world's protectors. Though they've taken on the challenge with eagerness, it hasn't been easy. Their old nemesis Brother Blood, now going by Brother Eternity, has reappeared, and though he claims to be reformed, he's been corrupted by a strange alien meteorite.
As the "Beast World" crossover gets closer, it seems like anyone's time could be up during the event. The most obvious victim would be Flash, whose future death kicked off the new Titans series. However, that may be too obvious. Garth, on the other hand, has been distant with the Titans, especially now that he's under the thrall of Brother Eternity and harboring an alien monster inside him.
The Titans May Be Losing Beast Boy or Garth Information about "Beast World" has revealed that Beast Boy is at risk of losing himself while transformed into his new Starro form. But Garth has already lost his autonomy and is serving under the orders of a sinister mastermind. Given that Beast Boy already had a near-death experience in Dark Crisis on Infinite Earths, it's a bit more likely that the Atlantean Garth will be the one to meet his maker.
