We dive into the movie vehicles featured in the blockbuster Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga film, from the team that built the incredible custom cars.

Mad Max

film you know what you’re getting: post-apocalyptic action with a massive cast of vehicular weapons to boot. It’s hard to argue with a formula like that. Thanks to director George Miller and production designer Colin Gibson, the audience has had a consistent flow of bad-ass vehicles that work on an almost equal level to the human characters in each installment.

We managed to get some behind-the-scenes info from Colin Gibson and learn more about the new vehicles featured in the film.is in theaters now, but if you want to know more about the feature vehicles before you watch, check out our guide below.A scene from Warner Bros. A chariot made out of motorcycles is one of those ideas that is beautiful in its simplicity. This moto-chariot is piloted by Chris Hemsworth’s villainous “Dementus” character and is made up of three different motorcycles. In the middle is a custom chopper with a rotec R2800 7-cylinder radial plane engine flanked by two BMW R18 motorcycles. Dementus controls the chariot via reigns attached to the throttles of the motorcycles.Chris Hemsworth as Dementus in Warner Bros.

The last thing we want to do is give away spoilers, but we’ll just say that Dementus gets himself an upgrade during the film and winds up driving a six-wheeled Chevrolet 454 big block-powered monster truck known as “the Six Foot.” Originally the vehicle was just supposed to be a “normal” monster truck but that wasn’t good enough for director George Miller. " asked ‘why isn’t it bigger?’,” said Production Designer Colin Gibson.
