Taya Rae Anne Sinclair, 24, was found dead on Tuesday in Prince Albert. She had been reported missing in Saskatoon on March 14.
That was the message conveyed in her family’s first statement to media after Prince Albert city police announced Wednesday that remains discovered the day before near the Alfred Jenkins Field House on the south end of the city belonged to the 24-year-old woman.
“The family would also like to thank everyone for their prayers and words of support. They ask that you please continue to hold them in your prayers as Taya makes her journey to the spirit world.” Police said Sinclair was the victim of a homicide and had been reported missing to Saskatoon police on Monday. A Facebook post about her disappearance published by someone who described Sinclair as their niece said Sinclair was last seen on Saturday.Article content
