The Folger Shakespeare Library — home to literally the biggest Shakespeare collection on the planet — is about do to something unprecedented in D.C.
From April 1-30, in celebration of the 400th anniversary of the Bard’s First Folio, the Folger will present “The festival officially kicks off this weekend with thefor special performances at DC Public Libraries of the world premiere of— a powerful new play inspired by the works and words of Shakespeare and featuring sound design and music from local legend Nick tha 1da Hernandez.
