Some Destiny 2 players have been complaining that reprised raid exotic, Necrochasm, is underpowered after the work it takes to get it in Crota’s End.
This isn’t just a theory, you can both see it in practice, and Bungie weapon designer Mercules posted this after it was found yesterday:
Bungie has been doing more with exotic interactions lately, but it’s usually armor interacting with weapons within a class, like we saw with Hunter and its moth generation this season, combing new arms with a new grenade launcher. But this is an interesting interactionGive that this exists, I doubt that Bungie will ever go all the way and have Necro produce explosions on all kills. That may be a…bit overpowered, but it stands to reason the gun could be buffed another way.
So, it takes two exotic weapon slots on two different people, but you may want to give this a try, particularly with just how many enemy-dense encounters we’ve seen lately, from new dungeons and raids to even Battleground final rooms. Pretty cool, in any case.
