In April last year, a woman filed complaints alleging she was sexually assaulted by the then-officer in October and December 2021.

Adrian Salazar was indefinitely suspended from paid duty with the San Antonio Police Department in October, according to disciplinary records.A San Antonio police officer accused of sexual assault and providing alcohol to a minor is pushing to get back on the force.

His arbitration hearing was slated to begin Tuesday morning but was re-scheduled to start Wednesday due to witness conflicts. It is expected to last about two days. In April 2022, a woman filed complaints alleging Salazar sexually assaulted her in October and December 2021 and that he gave her alcohol on both occasions, despite knowing that she was 20 years old.
