Rodriguez owns the Timberwolves, not the Vikings, but it's still a strange faux pas.

He's lent his voice and analysis to MLB broadcasts. He's appeared in a bunch of advertisements you've probably seen on TV one too many times.
That business decision should, in theory, limit A-Rod's pro sports allegiances to the state of Minnesota. Or at the very least, you'd think that owning the Timberwolves would preclude Rodriguez from rooting for the Green Bay Packers, sworn enemies of Minnesota's favorite team, the Vikings.
