A " Pokemon " convention dubbed Pokeverse is set to take place in the country!According to Nelson Canlas’ report on “24 Oras,” Thursday, the event will kick off on May 31 and end on June 2.“This could be a good bridge to connect my generation and maybe the previous generation,” Pokeverse producer Kirck Allen said.“There’s a brand recall for over two billion people in 180 countries, and 57 million of those are from the Philippines.
Jason Paige, who sang the original "Pokemon" theme song, and Veronica Taylor, who voiced Ash Ketchum’s character, arrived in the country ahead of the convention.“I've been in their living rooms all these years, as have you, and then we finally get to meet in person. It's like we already know each other. But now we have a deeper connection. Face to face,” Veronica said.
