'Lulu's Law' would categorize shark attacks as events for which wireless emergency alerts (WEAs) may be transmitted.
In June, multiple people were attacked by sharks at beaches along the Florida panhandle, including 15-year-old Lulu Gribbin of Alabama .Among those injured was 15-year-old central Alabama teen Lulu Gribbin, who is actively recovering from the attack.
It would categorize shark attacks as events for which wireless emergency alerts may be transmitted. This is similar to how Amber Alerts are sent to cell phones in the area.
