For Charlene Ventre, creating a Halloween display has helped keep her mind busy, as her son, Joey , died about four years ago.

Freddy Krueger from "Nightmare on Elm Street" and Jason Voorhees from "Friday the 13th" lurk at the door, while demonic clowns host a carnival in the back.“Then, it became out of control,” she said with a laugh.
