A 22-year-old Texas A&M student who had been missing since Dec. 16 was found dead in Austin on Christmas Eve, according to a tweet by the Amber Alert Network of Brazos Valley.A 22-year-old Texas A&M student who had been missing since Dec. 16 was found dead in Austin on Christmas Eve,, Tanner Hoang was last seen at a College Station apartment complex in the 900 block of Cologate Dr. at about 11 a.m. on graduation day.
Officials told KVUE in Austin that his body was discovered around 12:30 p.m. on Dec. 24 in the area of Pennybacker Bridge on Loop 360 in northwest Austin, near where his 2009 Lexus was found. “Certainly not the outcome so many people had hoped for,” the network said in a written Facebook statement.Officials do not suspect foul play in Hoang’s disappearance but did not say how he died.
