The star of Paper Dolls, Miah Madden, shares the fashion trends she likes and dislikes.
Each week, we quiz a prominent person about their style and the inspiration behind it. Ahead, actor Miah Madden. How would you describe your style?
Classic chic. My staples are a linen shirt, denim jeans, gold hoops and black Adidas “Spezial” sneakers.with a huge bag of clothes from the 1990s. My favourites are a Dior T-shirt and an epic pair of low-rise Versace jeans.Miah Madden loves Maison Essentiele’s “elevated” silk slip dresses.A pair of ’70s jeans I found at a market stall at a music festival when I was cold and needed some pants. They fit me like a glove, I wear them everywhere.
My Tony Bianco “Como” slides. I’ve worn them all through Europe and in Bali and they still look brand new.I love everything model Mia Regan wears – she nails that everyday elevated look. She’s 21, about the same age as me, and it’s cool to see her make her own style. For me, that involves being put in clothes that I have no control over! But I’ll rock up to a shoot in my market-find jeans, a linen shirt, slides and my Polène bag.
