Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown, despite winning his first Super Bowl, admits the feeling was short-lived. Brown expresses his true fulfillment comes from on-field domination and the competitive journey.
A.J. Brown, the star wide receiver for the Philadelphia Eagles , recently revealed that his initial experience with winning the Super Bowl wasn't quite as exhilarating as he had envisioned. Despite scoring a touchdown in the Eagles' decisive 40-22 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs, Brown admitted that the feeling of being a champion faded quickly. In an Instagram post, Brown shared his reflections on the triumph, stating, 'After a few days, I’ve had time to reflect on being a champion.
I tried to feel how everyone made it seem to be a champion and unfortunately it was short lived.. two days to be exact lol,' He further explained that while he had never experienced championship glory at the highest level before, he believed his hard work deserved to be validated by winning it all. However, the reality didn't quite meet his expectations. Brown emphasized that his true enjoyment comes from dominating on the field. He stated, 'It’s the Hunt that does it for me. It’s when the Db drops his head and surrender because he can’t F with me . The Intense battles. Early mornings. Late nights. Sacrifices. I love putting smiles on peoples faces, don’t get me wrong but it just wasn’t what I thought it would be.' His candid remarks sparked some discussion, but they also highlighted the intense dedication and competitive spirit that drives him. Brown concluded his post with a reaffirmation of his passion for the journey, proclaiming 'It’s the journey that I love the most. BACK 2 Work!'It's possible that the anticipated post-game celebration felt less impactful because the game itself was essentially decided early. However, Brown's perspective might shift during the Eagles' victory parade scheduled for Friday in Philadelphia. He might find renewed appreciation for the collective accomplishment and the unwavering support of their fans
