Seguin police are searching for a man whose “magic shows” tricked Walmart employees out of $2,700.
Coining him the next David Blaine, police said the unidentified man visited the Walmart in Seguin on Jan. 10 and Feb. 12, where he conned two cashiers into handing over thousands of dollars in change. Police said the man quick changed the employees — meaning he used a sleight of hand technique while counting his change to conceal money. He told the employees that they had shortchanged him and pocketed some of the money as he counted it.Seguin police are searching for this man, who they say used sleight of hand to steal thousands of dollars from a Walmart.As a “magician and a fashionista,” the man changed his appearance between visits, police said.
