A former federal prosecutor in Philly will supervise N.J. Attorney General’s case against George Norcross
Eric L. Gibson will lead the Attorney General’s Office of Public Integrity and Accountability’s Corruption Bureau alongside Jeffrey J. Manis, Platkin announced Monday.Gibson, a former deputy chief of the Corruption and Civil Rights Unit of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, will oversee the prosecution of Norcross, according to a spokesperson for Platkin.
“Changing attorneys does not change the facts of this case — the allegations contained in the indictment do not amount to crimes,” Norcross attorney Michael Critchley said Monday.
