Members of the community gathered at Baber African Methodist Episcopal Church on Saturday to celebrate the life of social justice advocate Rev. Lewis Stewart.
Rev. Lewis Stewart, revered president emeritus of United Christian Leadership Ministry, has passed away.
In 2020, Stewart also expressed support for peaceful protests motivated by George Floyd's death and spoke out against agitators who violently interrupted them.
