Katja Herbers as Dr. Kristen Bouchard holding an ax while George peers behind a sheet in Evil

Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT The critically acclaimed horror series Evil is coming to Netflix ahead of its final season. Debuting on CBS in September 2019, and moving to Paramount+ in June 2021, the premise mixes case-of-the-week episodes that usually involve an unexplainable or supernatural component and a more consequential overall story arc. It was announced earlier that Evil would end with a shortened season 5.

Evil season 1 was previously available on Netflix for a short time, from October 2020 to October 2021. Evil follows the forensic psychologist Dr. Kristen Bouchard as she works with a Catholic seminarian and a technology contractor to investigate cases that could have a supernatural component. Kurt Fuller, Christine Lahti, and Michael Emerson also star, with the latter portraying the villainous Leland Townsend.
