The Avon Eagles are still celebrating after the football team took home the Division II State Championship title last week in Canton for the first time in school history.
Published: Dec. 9, 2024 at 5:19 PM ESTAVON, Ohio - The Avon Eagles are still celebrating after the football team took home the Division II State“In the beginning of the season — with the three rough games we started out with — after coming out 3-0 against that, I just knew from there on forward, we were going to be 10-0 regular season,” said center Connor Bingham.Captains on the squad say it is something they have been building towards since coming into high school together four years ago.
Head coach Mike Elder says after the victory, his mind went to not just his family, but the Avon Family.
