SAN ANTONIO – A.B. Quintanilla, Tejano artist and brother of Selena Quintanilla, has been pulled from the lineup of a Tejano music festival due to "unforeseen circumstances.” In a surprising turn of events, the organizer of the event posted a video on Facebook, announcing that A.B. Quintanilla would no longer perform this weekend.RELATED |Here's what the festival organizers are saying:
"I regret to announce that A.B. Quintanilla and Cumia All Stars will not be performing this weekend due to unforeseen circumstances."“I was shocked to find out on the internet I would not be performing for ‘unforeseen circumstances,’” said Quintanilla. “The question I have is: What is an unforeseen circumstance out of control? Is Victoria expecting a tornado, hurricane, earthquake, or flooding? Whatever the case, my band and I were ready to perform."Quintanilla's interaction with the crowd here in San Antonio went viral, but it's unclear if it played a role in this decision.
