In 2012, after the Prices moved from Alaska, they began snapping up parcels of land to assemble their massive compound, which sits right outside of the tiny community of Luckenbach. In the process, they renovated and restored a trio of 19th-century homes that were already on-site. Across the expansive grounds are three creeks and six ponds stocked with largemouth bass and catfish. The ranch’s new owner will acquire a 120-acre wildlife preserve as well.
The ranch’s two other historic homes are dubbed the Petsch House and the Jenschke House—both of which are used to accommodate guests.
