Work has started on a new H-E-B store in the swiftly expanding Interstate 10 corridor between northwest Bexar County and Boerne. The new 106,000-square-foot H-E-B is part of a larger development named Lemon Creek, a “118-acre grocery-anchored mixed-use development,” according to the developer’s website.
The new H-E-B is expected to open in the first quarter of 2024, according to the project’s developer, Valcor Commercial Real Estate. After completion, the new store will make it three H-E-B stores within a roughly 10-mile stretch of Interstate 10.
