999 crews were called to a crash on a busy motorway near Glasgow.
Emergency crews were called to the M80 near junction 5 where a crash occurred on the southbound lane around 2.35pm on Friday afternoon.It is not currently known if anyone was injured in the crash. A spokesperson from the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were alerted at 2.30pm on Friday, March 17 to reports of a road traffic collision on the M80, close to junction five.
"Operations Control mobilised three appliances to the scene, where firefighters worked to make the area safe before leaving the scene."
