90+ Nassar survivors seek more than $1B from FBI over handling of investigation.
— Dozens of sexual abuse survivors at the hands of former U.S Gymnastics team doctor Larry Nassar have filed a Collective Administrative Claim against the FBI for its alleged mishandling of credible complaints of sexual assaults by Nassar in July 2015.
Last month, 13 Nassar survivors filed a lawsuit against the FBI seeking $10 million each, claiming a bungled investigation by federal agents led to more abuse by the sports doctor. In sworn testimony to Congress, FBI officials admitted that FBI employees failed to perform their basic duties and ethical obligations properly.
