Two boys riding an electric bicycle were hit by an SUV Wednesday morning. One boy has died and another is in serious condition.
A 9-year-old boy has died after he was struck by an SUV that allegedly drifted into the bike lane, police say.
Anderson said the driver of the SUV, a 44-year-old woman, is cooperating with police. The names of the children have not been released. “We’re really just trying to emphasize traffic safety,” Anderson said. “It’s really just being cautious when you’re driving out there and it’s not just for your own safety but it’s for other people as well, especially kids on bikes.”
